Transition Walthamstow

Towards a happy, healthy and resilient Walthamstow

Welcome to Transition Walthamstow!

We are a community-led action group working towards a happier, healthier and more resilient Walthamstow.

Challenges like our changing climate, the rising cost of living and the biodiversity crisis all seem impossible to overcome, but we believe that together we can create a new and better world.

Our work is informed by four overarching themes that we think are important: resilience, community, sustainability and diversity.

Find out more about what we do, the projects we’re involved with and our events below. Everyone is welcome to join us, if you'd like to find out more come along to one of our monthly meetings.

Next meeting: 7.30pm, 8 April, at Ye Old Rose & Crown pub, 53 Hoe Street

Next garden day: 10.30am, 13 April, at the TransMission Community Garden, corner of Mission Grove and Palmerston Road
