About the event
Come along to this monthly gardening work day to help out in the TransMission Community Garden. We'll be carrying out any necessary upkeep and general gardening duties, as well as ad hoc tasks as they come up. We'll also be discussing future plans and ideas for the garden.
We start at 10.30am and the work lasts for about three hours. Turn up at any time to join in and leave when you want, find out more about the garden and get to know your local community.
This will be a hedge-planting session. We have been donated 60 free hedging trees to plant around the edge of the garden to create a protective living barrier. This session will be all about getting those plants in the ground.
