We are delighted to announce a series of public film screenings which will take place at 7.30pm at Forest Recycling Project (2c Bakers Avenue, E17 9AW), on the last Saturday in September, October & November:

  1.     Sat 29th Sep: The Power of Community

  2.     Sat 27th Oct: In Transition 2.0

  3.     Sat 24th Nov: A Farm for the Future

And early notice that we plan to run a 3rd draughtbusting workshop at 2pm on Sunday 18th November at the Hornbeam Centre. Participants will get hands on practice in fitting draughtproofing for windows and doors, and reflective panels behind radiators. Places are free but you do need to book.

Tom has blessed us with 2 updates to our blog, ruminating over the spectacular Godiva Awakes carnival in early August, and explaining how the end of the Cold War spelt ruin for his courgettes.

Our monthly meetings have moved from the 2nd Monday to the 4th Wednesday each month, so our next meeting will be on Weds 26th September. To received monthly email updates drop us a note at transitionwalthamstow@gmail.com.
